Our Snuggle Specials range is very special for a few reasons. Firstly, these garments are one offs and won’t be coming back. This is your one chance to grab a SH exclusive.
Secondly, they are also made using fabric in our factories that is extra. It might be excess fabric we have, or the scale of the print might be slightly too large or too small or the colour not exact. This happens every day with fashion brands and most brands never use the fabric – perfectly good fabric goes to landfill.
92 million tonnes of waste is produced by the fashion industry each year and a lot of that is waste that is never seen as it never hits the 'shop floor'. Many products are sent to landfill and the factories don't get paid. We think that’s a huge waste and, quite frankly, not right, so we’re doing something about it with our Snuggle Specials. This means you get Snuggle Hunny clothes and wraps a lot cheaper, the factories are fairly paid, and we’re not sending fabric to landfill. Better for everyone.
Soft and stretchy, our dresses are easy-care and very comfy for bub. The sizes up to and including size 1 come with a snap underbody to go over a nappy. Size 2 and up doesn't have the snap body feature. We have really focused on the details and ensured the dresses up to size 1 are short enough so that a baby can crawl and not trip over the skirt. Size 2 and over, when they're walking, is a bit longer.
